Our Growth Story and Commitment to Clients

At Cantor Capital Consulting , we are proud of our history and the trust our clients place in us. Over the years, we have expanded our team, broadened our service offering, and grown through the addition of respected firms who share our commitment to excellence.

Each stage of this journey has been guided by a single philosophy: to serve clients better, wherever they are. By combining teams, opening new offices, and staying updated with ATO, ASIC, and Revenue NSW compliance requirements, we have built a network that balances professionalism with personal service.

In recent years, this growth has included the integration of established firms such as Merrell Associates (2025) and Sorensen Accountants, now Cantor Accountants (2022) . Together, these partnerships have strengthened our ability to deliver city-level expertise while remaining connected to the local communities we serve.

In May 2025, Merrell Associates was welcomed into the fold of the Cantor Capital Consulting family.

Merrell Associates has been in the Public Accounting industry for many years and has served Mosman clients for over 20 years. In May 2025, the firm became part of the Cantor Capital Consulting group, strengthening our presence on Sydney’s North Shore.

With offices in Chatswood and Woy Woy, our combined teams are equipped to meet the needs of clients in a rapidly changing world. We provide a wide range of financial and accounting services with professionalism, prompt efficiency, and an up-to-date understanding of taxation law. Our services include taxation and accounting for businesses, individuals, investors, and self-managed super funds (SMSF).

We remain committed to assisting individuals and businesses of all sizes in achieving their business and personal financial goals. Clients can expect accurate advice from qualified, experienced professionals — without paying a premium.

In June 2022, Sorensen Accountants became part of the Cantor Capital Consulting family.

With more than two decades of extensive experience serving the Central Coast community, Sorensen Accountants brought valued local knowledge when they joined our group in June 2022. At that time, the firm transitioned to its new name — Cantor Accountants — reflecting both its heritage and its integration into the wider Cantor Capital Consulting network.

Based in Woy Woy, Cantor Accountants are your local Central Coast Accountant, for Tax, SMSF & Business Services. The team continues to provide the approachable and professional service clients have come to rely on, while now offering the additional depth and resources of a city-level advisory firm.

On 1st September 2020, the Chatswood office of Cantor Capital Consulting was officially opened.

A new accounting and consulting firm was born in Chatswood. Servicing businesses and individuals in Sydney’s Northern suburbs and further afield, Cantor Capital Consulting would positively influence the growth and prosperity of all living and working in the area and beyond.

Invited guests at the Grand Opening event had the opportunity to meet Lina Guo, Director of Cantor Capital Consulting, a consummate professional in the industry. Guests were given a guided tour of Cantor Capital Consulting’s offices and a short presentation of the business and its many accounting and taxation services available. They also had the opportunity to explore the company’s brand new website, which was also launched on the same day.
